It's games like this that make you wish you stayed at home. Dartford came with one intention to play "anti football". Aided by a weak referee and a frankly shocking assistant (too fat to keep up with play). They came away with an undeserved 3 points. Don't get me wrong, I dont like Cambridge United but even I was wanting them to win at the end. The "Olympic Spirit" has quickly been forgotten about by Dartford FC and the embarrassing Mark Arber. Rolling around screaming on the floor to get another player booked is not on but he achieved his aim and it happened. Too much happy chatting between linesman, ref and the experienced Dartford players wound the home crowd up in the second half. But gamesmanship won and Dartford got the win. This really does turn people away from football.
